Before Andre Junget's residency became AIR Series IV, there was AIR Series II. On November 11, 2023, Milestone Graphics took over AIR/Proptogroup in New Haven for an evening built around the printmaking process, not just its finished work.

Milestone Graphics is excited to share that a new limited edition stone lithograph made in collaboration with artist Maria de Los Angeles will be available at the end of October. The print is rooted in the themes Maria has been developing throughout her practice: migration, belonging, and identity. Using our motorized Takach etching press and plexiglass plates that were sanded and prepared with gum arabic, MacIntyre collaborated with Milestone Graphics to create a grouping of impressions that centered on the image of a volcano. Bold, bright watercolor pigments and a large working surface made for many distinct variations of the same theme.

2026 marks fifty years since Milestone Graphics first opened in San Francisco in 1976, relocating to Connecticut in 1980. Now based in New Haven, it is the oldest professional print shop still operating in Connecticut. To commemorate this milestone, we're reflecting on the studio's origins, its founder, the collaborator continuing its legacy, and the enduring philosophy over the past half-century.

On April 27, 2024, Milestone Graphics presented AIR Series IV: Andre Junget at AIR/Proptogroup in New Haven. The show grew out of a multi-week residency Junget spent working alongside us in the studio that March and April. The series of prints that resulted took a close look at New Haven and it's iconic landmarks.
