Welcome to our new location!

Finally, we're happy to say that our new space located at 333 East Street in New Haven, CT is up and running. We've had the opportunity to begin inviting artists back into the print shop this past month and are back to slinging ink. Check out our services and printmaking techniques we specialize in.

A little history...

The printshop began its life in California in 1976. Connecticut officially became Milestone's home when the original founder, James Reed, moved the whole shop to Bridgeport. Throughout the years since 1980, Milestone found many homes in the Bridgeport area. The move to New Haven came in 2021 when the shop changed ownership to Irene Michnicki, a printer who began working at Milestone in 2015.

Michnicki started out working on various printing projects at Milestone under the oversight of James Reed, editioning projects once they were approved by the artist. After a few years, she began to directly collaborate with artists, etch stones, make plates and take on the responsibilities of a collaborative printer.
